PUBLIC FACILITIES
Public restrooms are no longer the dark, intimidating facility in the corner of a park, beach, or other open space. As our focus has become more family friendly open spaces to spend time with our kids, peers, families, and loved ones so too must the facilities that serve them be more family focused, inviting, and most importantly give feeling of safety.
Rubio Medina, Architect has designed multiple public restroom facilities including public restrooms serving community centers, nature, centers, and outreach facilities. The focus is on marque designs that are sturdy, easily maintained, and can stand to the rigors of harsh public use.

FACILITY ASSESSMENT
Facility assessment is a way of taking a snapshot of the current state and disrepair of city owned facilities. It assists city’s, districts, and fire department’s with establishing long range plans, prioritize maintenance items, identifies long range issues, and assists in the decision to replace facilities that are no longer viable long term.
